Aquaponics

"Aquaponics" is a method of growing plants without soil by suspending them above misting sprays that constantly moisten the roots with water and nutrients. Controlled variables include temperature, humidity, pH and nutrient analysis. Aquaponics is a combination of Hydroponics and aquaculture. The former is a form of agriculture that does not involve the use of soil but water and lots of chemical fertilizers, whereas aquaculture is the farming of fish in holding ponds. Aquaponics which combine both these is seen as an alternative to the use of chemical fertilizers within hydroponics due to the fact that crops and plants are fertilized by the waste generated by fish through a circulation process where the fish excrete waste, which in turn fertilizes plants and the water from the fish tanks is cleaned by the plants during circulation. This system has the great advantage of growing plant crops while at the same time growing fish providing a variety of nutrients from one agricultural facility. Aquaponics produces protein through fish with minimal pollution of freshwater resources, and at the same time provides minerals and vitamins from crops. Aquaponics is essentially an organic hydroponics system, which markets its Clear Flow Aquaponics Systems for commercial ventures and other applications. It is a soilless system. But in aquaponics, we use a natural fertilizer source, which is derived from fish waste. Aquaponics is a fully integrated system that produces both fish and plants. A controlled environment greenhouse protects the crop from extreme climatic conditions and also allows a grower to implement biosecurity practices to ensure food safety. We at Surya Agrotech will provide you complete turnkey set up of Aquaponics project as per your requirements
